 Was born in Javor on Lviv's
domain. After outflow of Viennese university in 1851
y. led a new mathematics chair in Lviv technical academy. A remarkable learned, talented teacher stood by professor
in 26 years. His lectures from mathematics in Technical academy visited university students. In 1871 y. walked across on post a mathematics manager in Lviv university, also
laid out mathematics in Technical academy to 1878 y.
Developed an original mathematics
teaching method, published a row of scientific articles, namely: "Wykad matematyki
na podstawie ilosci o dowolnych kierunkach w przestrzeni" (v.2, 1861-1864); "Teoria najwiekszosci i najmniejszosci
funkcij wielu zmiennych" (1871) and oth. Created the instruments for draft of different curves, which demonstrated on a little international
exhibitions. In due course were priced the trigonometrical Zmurko sunstitutions in integral calculation. Buried on Lychakiv churchyard. |
